Discover Bhutan’s hidden alpine paradise on this 7-day trek to the Dagala Thousand Lakes region. Located south of Thimphu, this relatively short trek takes you high into the Himalayan foothills where countless crystal-clear lakes shimmer in bright sunlight.
Despite being close to the capital, the Dagala region feels wonderfully remote. The trek offers stunning views of major peaks including Jomolhari, Jichu Drake, and even Kanchenjunga on clear days. Camp beside pristine lakes, walk through meadows carpeted with wildflowers, and enjoy some of Bhutan’s best mountain scenery.
